The ICT Survey Questionnaire:

Using ICT to teach English:

Are you going to use the Internet in a classroom with one computer or a computer lab with the
Internet connection?
Is it going to be a practice lesson or a project and research-based task?
Is it an individual or a pair/group activity?
How much time is allowed to perform the task?
Is it going to be an entirely Internet-based or a blended lesson?
Is the Internet work allocated as homework or class work task?
Have you thought of a proper lead-in (warmer) activity (classroom, homework)?
Have you prepared clear instructions for your learners?
Have you made task sheets?
Is the activity going to be assessed? If yes, how? What will the criteria be?
Is the site relevant to your learners’ age, interest, level? For lower levels of language proficiency
websites with easy to interpret contents (charts, visual data, and simple texts) or ELT websites are
preferable.
How is the learners’ work going to be presented (writing a report, oral group/individual presentation,
etc.)?
