John 6:70-71 Then Jesus replied, "Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a
devil!" (He meant Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, who, though one of the Twelve, was later to
betray him.)
The twelve disciples are listed in Matthew 10:1-4, Mark 3:13-19, Luke 6:12-16, Acts 1:12-14
Lesson #1: Pray humbly then proceed boldly.
Luke 6:12 One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night
praying to God.
Lesson #2: Train the called. Do not call the trained.
Lesson #3: Big groups need smaller groups.
- Life’s a journey, find some friends to walk it with you.
Lesson #4: Every group needs a leader.
Lesson #5: Not everybody gets the same press.
Lesson #6: Get the men.
Lesson #7: Weird groups are the best groups.
Lesson #8: Can’t make everybody happy.
Genesis 50:20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is
now being done, the saving of many lives.
Lesson #9: Be under authority before in authority.
Matthew 8:10 When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, "I tell
you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
Lesson #10: Follow Jesus without excuse.
John 21:21-22 When Peter saw him, he asked, "Lord, what about him?" Jesus answered, "If I
want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me."
