 Led group project involving taking an Access database online via Microsoft Sharepoint for a coffee shop having
trouble managing their new locations
 Customized permissions to access certain location’s records in the Sharepoint lists adding a security feature to our
proposal


Implemented Access queries to allow managers and owner to run a variety of reports (hot-selling items, individual
location performance)
Won class competition in front of a panel of judges (ASU Counselors, Directors of the CIS department, Business
Executives) for our presentation and consulting efforts
DATABASE IMPLEMENTATION for THE LODGE HOTEL

 Led group project involved employing the first phase of database for a medium-sized hotel
 Developed Project Plan using Gantt chart with MS Project to ensure project tasks, deliverables, and timelines
 Assisted in the development of the E-R diagram to visualize the data required for the project on Guests,
Reservations, Rooms, and Employees
 Constructed the CreateTable statements using MS SQL Server and input the proper information using Insert
statements
 Created sample queries for hypothetical manager reports such as what time of year is the hotel busiest, which of the
customers return frequently, and which employee made mistakes on certain reservations
 Lead team speaker in final presentation to the class, highlighting challenges of the implementation and corrective
actions that resulted in a successful database project
MOBILE APPLICATION RUN TEMPE
August - December 2012
 Built a mobile application to simplify route selection for runners, improving upon current running applications by
requesting user parameters (lighting, sidewalk vs. road, traffic level, scenery). Simple outcome of 3 routes meeting
runner’s parameters.
 Leader of the group project deliverables and the final application. Managed the team’s roles and responsibilities to
ensure an on-time deliverable of a customer applicable, user friendly app.
 Constructed the mobile fitness app on the Android and iOS platforms, presented top honors in the class.
