The current state is: Inefficiencies in closing the books and preparing external financial reports,
No automated connectivity of multiple general ledgers, resulting in duplicate entry, No daily
general ledger closes.
GMAC has burning issues: Inconsistent processes, Lack of transparency due to multiple
disconnected systems, No common chart of accounts, and lack of top-down guidance on
structure and utilization.
The Business challenge:
 Enable GMAC corporate and operating segments to process and deliver financial
business information using common business processes, standards and tools.
 Define a common Chart of Accounts (“COA”) at a transactional level that meets both
US and local GAAP requirements.

• Statutory view financial information is available in a timely fashion, but management
view information has to undergo manual elaborations before it can be used for
controlling the business
• Business units (the Sales Organization) and corporate departments (Production,
Logistics, Marketing…) need better tools to support their planning process that is mainly
Excel-driven and limits the ability to perform what-if simulations

Developed Interfaces between SAP CRM and backend systems. Project Everest’s goals align

Designed an interface with Secured Http which is called from CRM to Confirm the
Usage of a product to a non SAP system that supports REST Style.
XIF interfaces are used to create Master data in CRM.

Description: Ferrero, a well-known sweets producer, It is responsible for ensuring that sweets is
delivered to millions of consumers, Many shippers (Sweet Suppliers) supply Sweets to the end
consumers through Org, which uses SAP Exchange Infrastructure technology to unite its SAP
System with other solutions used by the company.
Responsibilities
 This Project consisted between Five Interfaces - SAP R/3 Sales System to OS/390 System
for order data as flat file, MQ Series System for Order Summary as MQ, Oracle 9 for
Order Database.
 The main Adapters IDOC, JMS, JDBC and FILE were used to communicate between
these five interfaces.
 Integrated these heterogeneous systems to send message interfaces. Designed the
required scenario in Repository and implemented in Directory using the SAP XI 3.0 as a
middleware.
 RFC Port destination designed on R/3 System for IDOC interface.
 Modeled an Integration Scenario for two retail business systems to send material
message interfaces as file.
 Implemented business scenario for purchase order created in SAP R/3 sent as an IDOC
into XI for File integration by using BPM.
 Integrated end-to-end business scenario using the java client proxies that involves
sending a request from a JSP page to SAP Exchange Infrastructure, which forwards the
request to a database and fetches the response. The request contains the username and
password and the role is returned to JSP as response.
 Performed Credit limit check for a SAP WebDynPro Client, based on a routing rule in
SAP XI the request is directed to an SAP R/3 System and .NET application.

Configured and designed a business scenario for an SAP system that sends an IDOC to XI
and stores it in a file system using the file adapter. The Sender IDOC adapter requests an
acknowledgement when sending the IDOC to XI.
Build client PO application and imported the WSDL file to Model and generate web service
to communicate with XI. SAP Net Weaver Developer Studio was used to build the client
application. In this SAP R/3 system is used for executing the BAPI to create a PO using the
RFC Adapter of XI.
Involved in the migration process and Migrated IB data from XI 2.0 to XI 3.0.

data to XI and then it routes the information to a file.

 Worked on an internal project for iView Development using Java Connector (JCO), Portal
Data Viewer (PDV) and also using HTMLB components.
 Created portal pages and populated with iViews that retrieve information from various
sources such as SAP system, Internet. Etc, helping users perform their business functions.
 Established the Web dynpro connection to the remote SAP R/3 system using an adaptive
RFC model. Defined the physical SAP system in the SLD, and configured the HTTP
connection in order to establish connection to the SLD.
 Unification of data from 3 different systems and producing reports.
 Involved thoroughly in the development of the WebDynPro Applications using Model View
Control Architecture that accesses the SAP-ABAP functions from the SAP Business Object
Repository BAPI’s and used BAPI’s are BAPI_PO_CREATE, BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL,
BAPI_PO_GETITEMS, BAPI_PO_RELEASE, and BAPI_SO_CREATE.
