ACF2 LOGONID DELETION (MAINFRAME)
Information Source:
TPX Mainframe Logon ID Request form for deletion is sent electronically
via email or faxed. The request must be signed by department/users
management.
Production Control also receives an electronic email that is generated
by Peoplesoft for any terminated employees which includes the effective
date of termination.
Below are steps to follow when deleting id and will be documented in a separate
document.
Process Deletion Request:
1. Review mainframe report ACFP2TPX to see if terminated employee
has an ACF2 Logon ID. This report is created daily and kept in
Document Direct under same name. Also check to see if user has a
Document Direct Logon ID as well.
2. If user has a Logon ID follow steps below.
Suspend Logon ID(s) as of termination date. This is done by
adding an EXPIRE DATE in the id field to match termination date.
> Remove any of the following applications the user has:
1. CIC7(IBAX)remove from IBAX security
2. CIC3 (SPN/CTA/GL) remove from applications security
menu.
3. Remove from Document Direct system security definitions.
4. In TSO, review if any datasets under ID qualifier and
delete all EXCEPT for the alias. Then delete the alias
using member DELALIAS found in AQA000.PRIVATE.TURNLIB.
5. In TSI, notify Gary Chellis of deletion of Logon ID.
6. Check ACF2 rulelib for any reference to the user and
delete it from the rule.
7. Return ACB from the deleted Logon ID to member TPXIDS in
PDS member BIH.HSKP.JCLLIB.
8. Delete TPX Logon ID from TPXADMIN.
9. Delete Logon ID from ACF2 and Document Direct Logon ID
if applicable.
10. Send email notification to appropriate individuals that
Logon ID was terminated and keep for record for future
audits.
