GENERAL KNOWLEDGE & AWARENESS
1. Collect the information about 10 different MNC’s & their Logos. Make a project of 10 sheets.
2. Write the name of five Phobias & also write two – three lines on each one of them.
3. India has made immense progress since Independence. Manifold developments have taken
place. Make a project of minimum eight pages explaining about the developing areas of our Nation.
4. Visit the places where CCTV Cameras are used. Write about 5 such places you visited and
give your viewpoint on merits and demerits of CCTV cameras in school.
5. Watch English Movie – Stuart Little. Then write a short summary along with what you learnt
from it.
6. Read newspaper daily and date wise paste current news in a scrap file on the following topicsa) Political News
b) Sports News
c) International News
d) NCR
e) Daily Temperature Chart
ENGLISH
1. “Books are the quietest and most constant friend ;they are the most accessible and wisest of
councilors and the most patient of teachers.” – Charles W Eliot.
Read The Blue Umbrella written by Ruskin Bond and write its summary in not more than 100
words. Also write about the main characters, about your favorite character about the character
you didn’t like and what did you like best about the book.
2. Your school has adopted innovative teaching method and organized activity based classes for
all subject. Write an E-mail to your friend narrating your experience and weather they have
helped you understand the concept better.
3. Read first 5 chapters from the book 'Beautiful Life'. Write a short summary of these lessons along
with the moral value enhanced. Write 5 new words from each chapter, give their antonyms &
synonyms.
4. Write 4 short poems to be published in School Magazines.
5. Make a poster saying “No To Junk Food”. You may use the following terms-:
(a) What is Junk Food?
(b) Why it should be avoided?
5. Frame a story based on each of the following idioms:
 give the shirt off (one's) back-to be generous
 have your head in the clouds-day dreaming

SOCIAL STUDIES
1. Make a slide show on Ocean Current and explain Cold Current and Warm Current.
2. Collect photographs of different mosques and Monuments built by the Delhi sultans and
Mughals and paste them in your scrapbook.
3. The mid-day meal scheme is one government scheme aimed at ensuring equality. Find out
two such scheme launched by the Government and write a photo-essay o them.
4. Many species of plants and animals have began disappearing from their natural habitats. Do
you know Why? Many people and organization are making efforts to conserve plants and
animals. Collect information about them and make a brief project on it.

6. Complete the Map file according to FA1 and FA2 syllabus.
SCIENCE
1. Make a list of all those activities in which you can save wastage of water. Ask your friends
also to do the same. Write down all the activities collectively on a chart.
2. Design poster on the theme " Say No to Plastic" and try to coomunicate through a social
networking to dicourage people from using plastic bags.
3. Roll No (1-26)
(a) Visit an electric repair shop and request the technician to show you different types of fuses
and where they are used. Try to get more information about these fuses and where they are
used. Make a scapfile.
(b) Roll No (27-46)
Find out many appliances and devises as possible, used by us, which are based on the heating
effect of electric current. Get colourful pictures of them and stick them on chart paper.
MATHEMATICS
Q1. Collect the data on IPL match and represent the same in the form of bar diagram, histogram
and pie diagram.
Q2. Prepare a dictionary with all the formulas you have learnt in the previous class.
Q3. Bring some magic tricks on Multiplication and Division.
Q4. Make a wind chime with some identical shapes of mathematics.
Q5. Collect the information about all the mathematicians and what they discovered.
Q6. Prepare a PPT on integers.
Q7. Do activity No.2 on fractions in your lab. Activity file.
Q8. Do practice of an Assignment given on I-guardian.
DIVINITY
1. Make a P.R.T on the historical Gurudwaras of Delhi with attractive pictures and written
material.
2. Collect the information about of any 5 famous Sikh Personalities who were active after
Independence.
SUPW
1. Attractive Fan Wall Hanging with Newspaper
Make an attractive “Fan wall Hanging” with the help of stapler, Glue stick, Thin wooden rod,
Newspaper, oversize button, scissor.
Steps
(a) Fold Newspaper into half and cut it into four halves.
(b) Then fold the paper in such manner as we make paper fan.
(c) Attach all 4 pieces folded from ends.
(d) Then with joined piece make a wheel and attach button in centre.
2. Make a colorful scenery on a transparent sheet ( cellophen). Draw a butterfly on the glass and
decorate it with the help of colours and crushed foil and frame it.
