CLASS GUIDELINES
• Attend all lecture sessions.
• You are responsible for material presented at any time during scheduled class meetings.
• Read and study all of the assigned textbook sections, preferably before the corresponding lecture.
• Complete all of the homework assignments and review the solutions in detail.
• It is recommended that you do most of the homework independently, but you may collaborate.
• There is no collaboration during exams, therefore you are responsible for independent problem solving.
• You may use the textbook and written notes during exams, but not homework or homework solutions.
HOMEWORK POLICY
• Assignments given during lecture each Wednesday.
• Due 5:00 PM on Wednesday, one week after assignment (drop off at Dearborn 221).
• Homework will not be accepted late.
• Do homework on engineering paper, in a style similar to ENGR 211 and 212.
• Each problem will be graded on a 0 (low effort), 1/2 (moderate effort), 1 (strong effort) basis.
• You are responsible for detailed evaluation of your effort using posted solutions.
