Introduction
Save the Children has set out an exciting 10-year ambition to inspire dramatic change for
children, and a clear 3-year strategic plan designed to position us to achieve this.
The Corporate Partnerships Department has made a step-change in fundraising activity,
targeting both existing and potential donors to maximise their potential. At the heart of our
work is a targeted campaign to generate strategic partnerships and with where possible, the
propensity to be globally scalable. We believe this approach will be vital as companies move
away from traditional forms of giving such as Charity of the Year relationships, towards
more mutually beneficial partnerships which meet their needs for business relevance,
engaging customers, inspiring staff and assisting the delivery of their business ethics and CSR
targets.
The Corporate Partnership Team’s vision is to dramatically increase the amount of income
to Save the Children from corporate donors and to give donors the opportunity to engage
in realising dramatic change for children.
The team have recently won a major Charity adoption with Morrisons which aims to raise
millions over 2011 and 2012 and we are recruiting an Account Manager to join the team to
deliver this exciting partnership. The team’s objective is to develop this into an exceptional
corporate partnership, work laterally across all parts of Save the Children to ensure
maximum value is delivered to the organisation, and to recruit more individual supporters
for Save the Children.
