I. Course Description:
This course covers an introduction to basic Systems Analysis and Design.
Course covers basic introduction to Analysis and Design, Object-Oriented
Systems Analysis and Design with Unified Modeling Language. Then the
course goes indepth into the Planning Phase, Analysis Phase, Design Phase
and finally the Implementation Phase.
II. Course Objective:
To provide basic introduction to Systems Analysis and Design. At the end
of the course the student will be have a better understanding of all the
phases need to design and implement a new system.
III. Instructional Materials:
Alan Dennis, Barbara Haley Wixom, David Tegarden. Systems Analysis
and Design with UML Version 2.0 – An Objected-Oriented Approach, Second
Edition – John Wiley and Sons –2005
IV. Teaching Strategies:
Class will be part lecture, and part discussion.
