Description of the different places in the Philippines 1. It is a beautiful island in Kalibo, Aklan. It has been selected as the number one Tropical Seaside on the planet. 2. It is a place in Manila where the Church of the Dark-colored Nazarene is located. 3. It is an island in Visaya where you can find the Chocolate hills. 4. It is made up of twenty beautiful islands which have been likened to the Mediterranean islands. It is also known as the “Marble Country”. 5. What are those? • The teacher tackles the APPLICATION Identifying verbals in sentences. • The teacher groups the class in three’s. • He gives authentic passage from news, poem, editorial, commentary, or story for each triad. The students find one or two sentences with verbal and identifies the verbal’s function in the sentence. • The triad writes and reads the sentence on the board and identifies the verbal and its function in the sentence. SYNTHESIS Constructing sentences using verbals. • The teacher posts a chart on the board and students volunteer to write the sentences.
