The Southern California ACI chapter’s membership

As a member of the Southern California chapter, you
expand your knowledge and keep up-to-date through
seminars, workshops and discussion groups. Your
peers are among the most well-informed people in the
world of concrete. You’ll work with them, share with
them, get “in the know” and grow.

You can participate in our local chapter’s study
projects on design, building and use of concrete
structures. You can concentrate on what really
interests you, on what stimulates you.
Have a say in your industry
Chapter members participate in common action to
develop more workable codes and standards. It is
this work that leads to the industry standards adopted
by ANSI and governments spanning the globe. They
are vital to the education and interests of all who
make their living in the world of concrete.
Be in touch with local problems
Your chapter provides access to answers to local
concrete problems. On a continuing basis, the local
chapter works to improve the quality of local concrete
and for the advancement of good concrete usage by
the industry.
Dinner meetings
Held bimonthly on the third Thursday of the month in
Sept., Nov., Jan, Mar., and May at various restaurants

Membership and Dues Information
Categories of Membership
Organizational: $60 per year; provides
additional listing on the Organizational /
Contributing pages along with regular listing
on the membership roster pages.
Member-Individual: $50 per year; must also
be a member in good standing of ACI
International.
Affiliate: $50 per year; for those affiliated to
the concrete industry. Does not require
membership in ACI International.
Life: $20 per year; a current retired member
with not less than 20 years of active
membership in the chapter and preapproved by the chapter Board of Directors.
Student: $25 per year; all individuals under
age 28 and a full-time student in an
educational institution.
