Specific Duties and Responsibilities
1. General office coordination, coordination of calendars, data entry, assistance with media
updates, interaction with employees and visitors, answering and directing phone calls, mail,
filing.
2. Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, copying, scanning, faxing,
mailing and filing.
3. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and agency information.
4. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and UPS/USPS/FedEx packages.
5. Prepare or coordinate responses to inquiries, such as requests for beer samples, quotes, and
interviews.
6. File and retrieve organizational documents, records and reports.
7. Create and modify documents such as invoices, reports, memos, and letters.
8. Conduct research, compile data and prepare papers for consideration and presentation to
upper management.
9. Make travel arrangements for staff, board and volunteers.
10. Collect and maintain inventory of office equipment and supplies on shared Google doc.
11. Research, price and purchase office furniture, equipment and supplies on shared Google doc
12. Assists in special events, such as fundraising activities and the annual meeting.
13. Assist with overall maintenance of the organization and its offices.
14. Other duties as assigned.

16. Create and maintain SOPs for office processes
17. Maintain Hop and Malt inventory- make sure the proper employee performs inventory
weekly
18. Maintain Production - make sure the proper employee performs inventory weekly
19. Listening ear for office complaints
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Very computer literate. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Mail (and related
programs), and Powerpoint.
Good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to type quickly and efficiently.
Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management and
general administration.
Ability to communicate effectively and positively. Experience answering telephones.
Provides excellent customer service.
Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers,
telephone systems, calculators, copiers and facsimile machines.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team.
Experience with HTML and updating websites is preferred but not required.

comfortable in our loud brewery atmosphere and not have sensitivities to exposure to brewery
chemicals. You must have the ability to climb a flight of stairs, be on your feet for extended periods,
and read, write, and type effectively. You must have the ability to speak on the phone.

Maintain organized and clean office work space; keep organized PC files and records stored
in correct place. Contribute to IT organization.

Become knowledgeable of OSHA requirements and help to train other brewery staff to be
safe and aware of regulations.
Know where to find and help monitor stock of first aid supplies and in user friendly location.
Continuing training and education – SBC will subsidize or pay in full for programs that
contribute to the advancement of your department or company direction with approval of
board of directors.
Your position is reviewed by upper management based on results and satisfactory
completion of job requirements.
