On motion presented by Councilor Romeo C. Medina, duly seconded, all present members of the
Sangguniang Panlungsod, approved the following City Resolution on second and final reading:
CITY RESOLUTION NO. 2015-079

A.C. Magpantay, R.C. Medina and M.C.M. Yabut
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT, AFTER A REVIEW, BARANGAY
SINGKAMAS APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 1 SERIES OF 2015
ENTITLED “AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE REVISED 2014 ANNUAL
INVESTMENT PLAN (AIP) OF BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION
AND MANAGEMENT FUND (BDRRMF) OF BARANGAY SINGKAMAS,
MAKATI CITY AMOUNTING TO ONE HUNDRED NINETY THREE
THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED THIRTY NINE PESOS & 76/100 (P193,439.76),
IS IN CONFORMITY WITH EXISTING LAWS, RULES AND REGULATIONS.
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod Chairpersons, Vice Chairpersons and Members of the
Joint Committees on Appropriations and Budget, Barangay Affairs and Rules, Legal Matters and
Ethics had undertaken an extensive review of the Barangay Singkamas Appropriation Ordinance
No. 1 Series of 2015;
WHEREAS, after review, Barangay Singkamas Appropriation Ordinance No. 1 Series of 2015
had been declared to be in conformity with the mandated requirements pursuant to Section 6.4
and 6.5 of the Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2013-1 issued by the National Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Council, Department of Budget and Management and Department of
Interior and Local Government states that:
“Sec. 6.4
The unexpended LDRRMF shall accrue to a special trust fund
solely for the purpose of supporting disaster risk reduction and management
activities of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council
(LDRRMC) within the next five (5) years.”
“Sec. 6.5 The unexpended balances of the LDRRMF may be released and
utilized for new expenditure items upon submission of a revised AIP as
approved by the local sanggunian and Local Chief Executive (LCE) upon
recommendation of the LDRRMC in accordance with the approved
LDRRMP.”
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE
SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OF MAKATI, METRO MANILA, BY VIRTUE OF
THE POWERS VESTED IN IT BY LAW, IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, to declare that, after
a review, Barangay Singkamas Appropriation Ordinance No. 1 Series of 2015 entitled, “An
Ordinance approving the revised 2014 Annual Investment Plan (AIP) of Barangay Disaster
Risk Reduction and Management Fund (BDRRMF) of Barangay Singkamas, Makati City
amounting to One Hundred Ninety Three Thousand Four Hundred Thirty Nine Pesos &
76/100 (P193,439.76)”, is in conformity with existing laws, rules and regulations.
Let copy of this Resolution be furnished the Barangay Council of Barangay Singkamas, Liga ng
mga Barangay Office and other offices concerned for their information, guidance and reference.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
