Spanish 1 Placement Exam – Review Sheet
About the Exam:
Part I (20%): Listening Comprehension: Students will have 20 questions of listening comprehension that are
pre-recorded by Spanish teachers from Frisco ISD.
Part II (20%): Reading Comprehension: Students will have 20 questions of reading comprehension that
correspond to authentic reading passages.
Part III (10%): Structure: Students will have 10 questions of structure/grammar.
Part IV (20%): Presentational Writing: Students will write a composition of no less than 125-150 words (3
letters or more count as a word) responding to a given prompt and will be graded on a district rubric.
Part V (30%): Presentational Speaking: Students will have 1 ½ - 2 minutes to respond to a given prompt.
These responses will be recorded on a recording device and graded on a district rubric.
