IDENTIFY CONCERNS
Our concerns are that families are not coming together and communicating during the
family meal times.
SET A GOAL
We would like to raise awareness among families, teens, parents that have or are
starting families to set goals and meet them as family together.
FORM A PLAN
Who- Create a Digital Story to Share Information
What- Inform FCCLA members, Public School Audiences, Local Organizations, and Web Audiences
When- Spring Semester 2015
Where- Frankfort, Kentucky
Why- To raise awareness among members and their families about eating together
How- Use video making technology and voice overs to combine all together and make a story
Cost- Our time
Resources- Personal computer, Internet Research, Personal Experience, FCCLA Advisor
ACT
1. Brainstorm ideas to construct an informational digital story
2. Gather information from the internet and record sources used
3. Film video on a closed course under our FCCLA advisor’s supervision
4. Prepare a rough draft digital story
5. Make corrections and transform into a more advanced digital story
6. Create final digital story along with credits and bibliography and storyboard
7. Share the story with local audiences and on the Internet
FOLLOW UP
What could have been better? What did you learn?
1. Follow up on how FCCLA nationally is doing for their goal.
2. Keep Record of comments and views of video.
3. Post informational posters and meeting throughout our county about eating meals together.
