I.
Books
To locate books and multi-media on different topics in Travel and Tourism, search the
Online Catalog, BLISS, under subject headings such as:
air travel
airlines
hostels
hotel management
hotels
motels
travel
travel agents
travel guidebooks
From the library homepage select Find Books. Select Find Books in This Library.
Select Basic Keyword Search and then Subject as the field to search and enter in
your text. A list of records will display.
Multi-media (videos, slides, films, CDs, tapes, DVDs, etc.) are located in the
Instructional Technology Center (ITC) on the second floor and may be searched
using the Advanced Search feature of BLISS under Find Books.
Browsing the shelves can also be helpful. Look in the “G” (second floor) and “TX”
(first floor) sections of the stacks.

Ebooks
NetLibrary offers an extensive collection of e-books in the travel and hospitality
industries. Use the search terms listed above (I.) to search for availability. To use
NetLibrary, select Find Books from the Begley home page, NetLibrary, LogIn
(upper right corner if you already have a logon) and then enter the terms that you
want.

There is a section of the library located to your left as you enter that is dedicated to
Career material. Included in this collection are a number of items on pursuing
careers in the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality industries. See our separate Resource

Electronic Databases and Print Resources for Periodicals,
Newspapers, and Journals
The library subscribes to multiple databases which provide resources for travel,
hospitality and tourism information. From the library home page, select Find Articles
which brings you to a list of databases that can be accessed. They may be accessed
either by subject or alphabetically. The following may be used to access online
journals and periodicals for full text articles or citations. SFX can be used to attempt
to locate a full text version of an article. Some newspapers and magazines are also
kept on microfilm.
