Maintain a minimum 5% of the Fund’s Net Asset Value
Investments in Shariah based liquid assets comprising of cash and
Shariah-based deposits with licensed financial institutions, Islamic
accepted bills, sukuk, Cagamas sukuk, Government Investment Issues
and any other Shariah compliant instrument capable of being
converted into cash within seven (7) days.
The Fund invests primarily in Shariah compliant equity securities. The
fundamental investment process will be driven by key investment and
sectoral themes prevailing in the market at any point in time, the
guiding principle to the selection of Shariah compliant investments
which comply with Shariah requirements.
