Job Description / Responsibility






We are looking for some enthusiastic and talent young researcher having aptitude in
Socio Economics Research for immediate appointment.
To conduct survey/research projects commissioned by Police Staff College Bangladesh.
Application of survey on Policing, Criminal Investigation, Prosecution, Victimization,
Crime Reporting, Law Enforcement and Cyber Crime assessment by data collection,
process, analysis and reporting
To develop survey tools and materials
To communicate and meeting by Key Informant Interview (KII) and other Stakeholders
To prepare work progress reports
Job Location: Dhaka with frequently visit in other divisions (TA & DA applicable)
Job Nature: Short-term (15 February to 30 July 2014)
Educational Requirements


Any Students who have appeared the final examination of his/her Bachelor Degree in
Sociology, Social work/welfare, Criminology, Psychology, BBA, Statistics, Economics,
and any other relevant subject.
Any Masters Student in Sociology, Social work/welfare, Criminology, Psychology, BBA,
Statistics, Economics, and any other relevant subject.
Experience/Requirements




Must have a course on his/her Bachelor/Master’s in Research Methodology.
The applicants should mentioned two reference (Including one Researcher of any
Organization in Bangladesh)
Submits his/her mark sheet/grade sheet on Research Methodology
Having good knowledge on Survey Design/Planning, Report Writing, Research
Design/Analysis
Additional Job Requirements




Experience in field survey
Strong inter-personal and communication skills
Strong proficiency in English (both writing and speaking)
Strong competence in operating computer applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS power
point, SPSS,STATA, Epi Info™ 7, Photoshop, etc)
