ABC Book of Ancient China
To illustrate your knowledge of Ancient China you will be
creating an ABC Book.
 The book will contain 26 pages, each page representing
a different letter of the alphabet. The word to be used for
the corresponding letter will be given to you. Two to three
informative sentences about the assigned word will then
be created.
EX: If “S” was represented by the word Silk Road you would write
a sentence such as:
The Silk Road was a series of travel routes used by the Ancient
Chinese. It was the path traders took when trading with other
cities.
(Be sure to bold and underline the page word.)

You will be typing or writing each page in landscape
format with the caption being at the bottom of your
page.* The size of the font may depend on the length of the
sentence. Try to make the pages look as uniform as possible.

 Each page will need to be neatly
illustrated. Symbols or full scenes may
be used. Be sure to use your artistic
skills: outline, color in same direction,
use appropriate color choices, etc.
**Up to 13 pages may have an image
that is taken from the computer.**
 Your book will need an original cover. You may type the
title: ABC Book of Ancient China as well as your name and
then print this page to use as a cover. This page must also
be created using the landscape format and be illustrated
appropriately.
 You will need to bind the ABC book in your own creative
way.
