TELFER MBA – CMA
COMBINED PROGRAM
The Telfer MBA program is proud to announce a new partnership with the Certified Management Accountants of
Ontario. The partnership provides Telfer MBA students with the opportunity to complete the CMA requirements
while working towards a Telfer MBA.
What is a CMA?
A Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a professional designation awarded by CMA Canada. Members span
the globe and play an integral role within the companies and industries they work for. CMAs advise and lead
management on financial and strategic management decisions. A CMA designation ensures high standard
performance to employers, making it an organization’s designation of choice. With a CMA you will become a valued
member of the organizational decision-making team, gain a respected position in company, and hold the skills that
are highly sought-after in a successful enterprise.
Who can apply?
Full-time and part-time students who are currently enrolled in the Telfer MBA program or who graduated from the
program in the past year are eligible to apply for a CMA designation provided they meet all program and course
requirements. Students must apply to the CMA program and enroll in the components within 13 months of
graduating to get full-credit for their MBA-CMA prerequisite courses.
