READERSHIP
Foreword Reviews is the only print magazine exclusively offering reviews and news
of books from independent publishers, and university presses. In our magazine,
website, and email newsletter, we focus solely on the best new books published by
smaller presses. We reach a targeted audience not offered by other review journals.
TESTIMONIALS:
“Informative. Insightful.
Influential. Advertising in
Foreword Magazine is important to
our marketing strategies.”
—GABRIEL DOTTO,
DIRECTOR, MICHIGAN STATE
UNIVERSITY PRESS
“Foreword Reviews is our most
valuable partner helping us
to scale our global brand
representing dynamism, integrity,
meaning, and excellence in
children’s literature.”
—RANA DIORIO,
FOUNDER & CEO,
LITTLE PICKLE PRESS
“World Wisdom is proud to have
worked with Foreword since
2006. We value their reviews
very highly. Their advertising
opportunities, both in print and
online, offer us a chance to
connect with our target
audience. In 2012, when World
Wisdom launched its children’s
book imprint, Wisdom Tales,
Foreword was one of the first
places that we turned for support
and promotion.”

GET REVIEWED
Foreword is always the “Place to
Be Seen” for us at Exterminating
Angel Press.
—TOD DAVIES,
EXTERMINATING ANGEL PRESS
I want to say “Thank you!” for
your Foreword Clarion Review of
my mother’s poems, “Studies:
Joint Memories.” ... Indeed, it
was your review that made the
entire effort of publishing them
worthwhile.
As a pre-publication review journal with lengthy editorial requirements (our reviewers
need ample time to read your book and write a review), Foreword Reviews needs
to see advanced reader copies (finished books, if need be) of your book as early as
possible, ideally three or four months before the book is published. (Digital copies
are fine, though we prefer a physical copy.) Include a tip sheet or cover letter listing
the book’s title, author, publisher, pub date, ISBN, author bio, price, book summary,
contact name, and other pertinent information. Send the book to Foreword Reviews,
Book Review Editor, 425 Boardman Avenue, Traverse City, MI 49684.
