by taking courses that are approved and
offered at the high school, during the high
school day, and taught by qualified high
school teachers.
Students use the books provided by the
high school, and the teachers follow very
similar curricula, assignments and testing
as their college faculty counterparts.

completed 4 semesters of high school
with 2 of the following 3 criteria:
 3.0/4.0 GPA
 HS Rank – top 1/3
 1500 SAT/21 ACT
Principal/Teacher/Guidance Counselor recommendation
may be considered for students who only meet 1 of the 3
criteria, or who have not completed 4 semesters of high
school.

Process

Applications/Registration forms are
submitted to Guidance
Guidance Office has the applications,
registration forms and the list of courses
offered for dual credit/concurrent
enrollment.
 Registration
forms are to be completed
for the entire academic year
• New CEP students must complete an
application and a registration form.
• Current or previous CEP students only need
to complete a registration form
ADMISSION TO CEP
Upon admission to CEP, a letter will
be sent to the student that contains
valuable information for activating
the student account. Save in a safe
place.
