What’s new in Infor PM 10
Ü Infor PM 10 brings together capabilities for business processes and
analytics to deliver a foundation to quickly integrate, analyze, format, and
deliver answers to questions about business performance.
Combining business processes and analytics
Infor PM 10 is an integrated suite of Performance Management (PM) software that
brings together business process applications from Extensity MPC and analytics from
Systems Union MIS to provide a complete, closed-loop offering that can be used to
improve operational and financial performance. Infor PM 10 demonstrates Infor’s
commitment to enrich, extend and evolve its portfolio of software to deliver greater
value to customers.

Infor™ has renamed the Extensity MPC product suite as part
of the Infor PM solution suite. The MPC product suite is now
referred to as the Infor PM Business Process Applications
(BPAs). Infor has also renamed Systems Union MIS
products as part of the Infor PM suite. The MIS products
listed below are now included in the Infor PM Business
Specific Analytics platform. New names for the Extensity
MPC and Systems Union MIS products include:

quickly, more efficiently and with more confidence.

Support for group ownership at less than 100%
Support for currency translation adjustments in
ownership processing
Infor also provides a Consolidation Status Monitor with
a visual overview of all financial schedules and how new
journals impact the company’s overall consolidation.
Within the Consolidation Status Monitor, users can
take advantage of the Run Consolidation feature to
automatically determine the most efficient consolidation
paths. Run Consolidation initiates a series of full and/or
incremental consolidation requests depending on the data
status, instead of running a full consolidation at each node.

Planning and Budgeting
OLAP
Model Manager, which is found within Infor PM Planning,
now includes the ability to:
Infor PM Planning can take advantage of OLAP data
and models contained in Infor PM OLAP. In addition,
performance improvements in this OLAP solution include:
Synchronize structure between two existing and similar
relational BPA models
Synchronize structure and data with the new Infor PM
OLAP models
As a result, it is now easier to move applications and
portions of applications from test and development servers
to production servers and to update the common parts of
divisional models. With new OLAP capabilities, users can
choose the model type that best meets their business
needs, and easily integrate structure and data
across models.

Strategic Management has updated Member Selection,
which allows for multiple member selections at the same
time, and includes a Find capability to help locate specific
members in long member lists. Users can easily customize
additional tolerance ranges for visual status reporting –
providing more insight into how the business is
executing to plan.
Infor PM Application Studio can support the BPA relational
model type. This capability provides users with an entirely
new zero-footprint web client option for HTML reporting and
analysis on BPA data. In addition to integration with BPAs,
new features in Application Studio include:

Infor PM Office Plus, an Excel-based client, can access BPA
relational models and provides BPA users with an enhanced
user interface and formatting capabilities. Other features in
Office Plus include:
Clicking the Undo button for a load restores the fact table
data to its pre-load state. Now, core financial data and
intercompany data stored in separate tables can be loaded
at once, with a single load file. Users can also load directly
from tables in the source system, or in a data warehouse.
