TEAM SPORTING EVENT
Calgary 2015 is Volleyball Canada’s massive national
championship tournament for elite teams of all ages from
across the country.
Over 800 teams, 10,000 participants, 7,000 girls, 60 courts,
and 20,000 spectators!
The stacked week of elite volleyball is played at two gigantic venues; BMO Centre at Stampede Park with 30 courts,
and the Olympic Oval with 30 courts. Volleyball fans will also get a chance to watch Team Canada’s men’s and women’s
national teams playing Cuba in international and World League matches on four of the nights at the Stampede Coral.
Calgary 2015 is organized and managed by Volleyball Canada.
Volleyball Canada is one of largest and most dynamic sport organizations in Canada; it hosts major events
in every region of the country, it’s active throughout the year, and manages the development of six Olympic
and Paralympic team programs -- and it’s programs, teams and event venues provide a solid platform of
substantial marketing value. From grass-roots to the professional level, there are over 700,000 Canadians playing volleyball, playing for

The 2015 Canadian Open of Volleyball will host two sponsor expos
The largest will be in Hall C of BMO Centre at Stampede Park and will feature
over 200,000 square feet of space. It will include Volleyball Canada’s main
sponsor displays, the event’s Official 2015 Open apparel store, private vendors
and a food court. Hall C is centred between 30 tournament courts and lots of
action.
The Olympic Oval will hold 20 tournament courts and the second sponsor expo
site including 60,000 square feet of expo space, sponsor booths, private
