Summer Reading Assignment for The Book Thief by Markus Zusak There are ten books (or chapters) in this novel, along with the Prologue and Epilogue (twelve) chapters total). For each of these books/chapters you will complete an assignment and follow the format and the instructions listed below. Complete each assignment in Cornell notes format. Make sure each part of the assignment is labeled clearly and states the corresponding chapter number and pages. Attach all twelve assignments together. This assignment may NOT be typed. Copying from websites such as Sparknotes constitutes plagiarism and will result in immediate removal from the Honors program. This assignment will be due on the first day of school. Be prepared; there will be a major writing assignment based on the content of your summer reading during the first week of school.
