recherché, Service Universitaire de Psychiatrie de l’Enfant et de
l’Adolescent (SUPEA) to train observational coders to code Child
Misbehavior and Maternal Discipline.

Research advisor: Dr. Susan G. O’Leary
 Experimental manipulation of preemptive parenting (i.e., parenting that
occurs prior to child misbehavior that is designed to prevent and/or avoid
undesirable child behaviors) for mothers’ of toddlers
 Observational analysis of preemptive parenting
 Examined the psychometric properties of the Parent Behavior Scale, a
new parenting measure designed by Camilo Ortiz, Ph.D.
 Research assistant for a parenting intervention study
 Since 2006 I have trained 29 undergraduate research assistants across
seven semesters in the assessment of videotaped mother-toddler
interactions utilizing a variety of observational codes.
