Learn the spelling rule off by heart, list 5 examples where the rule applies and write it out once each night .
Rule: when a word ends in a silent ‘e’ drop the ‘e’ before adding ‘ing’

Read each night for at least 10 minutes and remember to complete your reading log in the back of your homework book.
Try to read PRC books whenever possible.
This week you should read chapter 17 of The
Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. There will be a quiz for you to complete in class on
Friday.

Complete Unit 5 of your Maths Mentals
Book.

Rote learn your multiplication tables.
Revise the 9 times tables each night and please remember there will be a speed test on Friday and personal bests to beat.

You need to recite it in under 15 seconds to get a step on our class tables ladder.
