CMS Mentor
September 2012 – April 2014
Tutor for first year students’ lab sessions and working part time as a Teacher Assistant for Digital Media and Web
Technologies students. Tutor students one on one, manage and tutor workshops, responsible for developing
and updating CMS Mentor App in Apple store and Google Play.

Tutoring at lab: one-on-one and workshop once every week, helping students with digital media, game
development and web technologies the basic fundamental languages the university requires as part of
the first year credits, assisting students with: HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP and MySQL.

Supervision of labs and organizing events for the Computer Mathematics School.
Projects & Research
•
Dissertation: “A Comparative Analysis of Mobile Device Application Development”, a study that
compared top three mobile application development languages, Web based language, PhoneGap
and Objective-C.
•
Interaction Design & User Interface Design: a UI/UX research about the impact on users that involves
psychology method “cognitive,” this research help to improve the way users browse the web.
•
Information and Content Management: research compared three different content management
systems, SharePoint, Alfresco and Joomla!, based on four types of specification and criteria.
•
SharePoint redevelopment: Group of seven members, and Agile project management, restructuring
SharePoint front-end to match up with up to date technology, using Bootstrap 3.0, jQuery, to
accommodate and enhance user interaction by applying a responsive design to increase user
interaction.
•
PawBase: System that built on PHP/MySQL for Pet rescue organization, collect information for new pet
entries, updating, editing and deleting queries. Notification system based on PHP Mail function.
•
UoG eTutoring System: Developing, designing and restructuring databases for eTutoring system for
University of Greenwich, that helps to improve the communication between both students and tutors.
The functionalities are based off the current system of cms.gre.ac.uk.
•
HexBox App for iOS and Android: developed on PhoneGap, a catalog of all the HTML/CSS hex colors
and a jQuery based converter to RGB.

F2C App for iOS and Andriod: developed on PhoneGap, and jQuery driven app, works as weather
converter from Celsius to Fahrenheit and vice versa, the application converts weather based on user
location, also the app accepts user interaction to modify the weather screen for different temperatures.
