Building Young India
DSC 2012
I have been with DSC since 1999. Building and maintaining high standards of professional education for young
adults is a greater challenge today. DSC has built its reputation as an Integrated Marketing Communications
Institution with constant upgradation as the basic element in its programme. As a faculty I proudly share the fact
that the enthusiasm and passion displayed by their students is distinctly visible.
Mr. Nikhil Dey
President, Public Relations, Genesis Burson-Marsteller
I have had a long and fulfilling association with The Delhi School of Communication. DSC offers a strong
platform for young minds aspiring for a future in the wide world of communication. What I have been impressed
by immensely is the ability of students to quickly grasp the fundamentals of great advertising. They are good at
analyzing problems and presenting multiple solutions- a number of them being quite creative I must say. It’s not
surprising then that a number of them are doing so well in their chosen fields.
Mr. Shiveshwar Raj Singh
Creative Director, FCB Ulka
POSITIVE has been associated with DSC for almost a decade. I find their students extremely responsible and
persevering. They have a great balance of theory with practical aspects through a well managed integration of
each element. Cheers to their future!

About Us
A visioning into the future and an understanding of communication trends, provided the impetus for the creation of DSC,
in 1995. The 2 year full time Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in Communication (PGDPC) is architectured to be a
top-of-the-line course enabling participants to foster an understanding of the dynamics of human communication in people‘s lives, the symbiosis of diverse Indian culture and other global cultures.
The breadth and depth of subjects covered provides for a holistic understanding of the role and working of contemporary mass media and marketing organisations well integrated within the dynamic global socio-economic structure.
DSC provides its community with the facility to study this complex, fast changing world around us.
With internships and projects as an integral part of the curricula, the academic mix is one of theory and intense handson practice. Students are placed as apprentices in leading organisations such as JWT, Publicis India, Euro RSCG, Lowe,
Leo Burnett, ESPN, McCann Erickson and Perfect Relations among other organizations. Training begins from the first
semester itself, under the Apprenticeship Programme pioneered and carried forward by DSC since 15 years. We aim to
provide the national community with contemporary and effective communication professionals and leaders for the 21st

What our students say...
DSC is one of the few institutes which offers a course on communication planning. The in-depth learning in
class coupled with enormous work experience during the course itself, provided an edge over other
candidates, even at the initial stages of my career. The take-off was phenomenal.
Ms. Bhavna Jha
General Manager TME (Rediffusion Y&R)
The DSC programme is actually a process of continuous evolution...a life-time experience.
Mr. Manish Sharma,
Media Group Head, Percept Media
DSC has been the foundation stone that gave me the opportunity to soar high. Be it Sales, Marketing, Advertising or Communications, the school, along with its dedicated management, gives the students avenues to reach
out, build their own networks and develop both personally and professionally.
I wish my school and its future batches the very best.
Ms. Charushilla Narula
General Manager,Wisdom Village Publications Division (WVPD)
