Lisa and Mark Schwartz Donate $ 1 Million to Northern Westchester Hospital
Donation to Support Ongoing Surgical Services Modernization

Westchester, County, NY—February 10 , 2015—Northern Westchester Hospital announced today
that Lisa and Mark Schwartz, two highly respected business leaders and philanthropists from our
community, donated $1 million in support of NWH’s ongoing surgical services modernization. As a
hospital that provides high quality patient-centered care, NWH is redesigning and expanding its surgical
suites to ensure adequate space for new technologies and to better align the facility with the sophisticated
procedures being performed by our surgical staff. Northern Westchester Hospital continues to receive
recognition for its leading-edge surgical programs including Spine, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Breast
Surgery, and Robotics, among others.

globally. Lisa Schwartz was also a driving force behind the NWH Food is Care patient nutrition program.

Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University.
