Lehman College General Education Degree Requirements.

To earn the Bachelor's Degree at Lehman, Bronx Community College graduates need to
complete the courses required for the major / minor, two upper-division interdisciplinary
courses, one writing intensive course, and elective courses if needed.
ƒ
Bronx Community College Political Science students will be required to attain a minimum
GPA of 2.0.

Interdisciplinary General Education Requirements
After earning a minimum of 60 Credits, all students must complete two interdisciplinary courses:
LEH 300 The Humanities
LEH 301 The American Experience
BCC Students will be required to complete one writing intensive course. Individual sections of LEH
courses may be designated as writing intensive and such sections would count toward both
requirements.
Minor
A minor, consists of 12 credits of related courses beyond the 100 level in a department or approved
program is required of most students. At least 6 of the 12 Credits must be taken in 300 and 400 level
courses. Students must select their minor by the time they have earned 80 credits. With the approval
of an appropriate advisor, students may construct their own minor.
