3-D DNA Model Project
Objective: Create a unique, free standing model of the structure of DNA.
Materials:
Anything is possible! Be creative. (cereal, candy, cardboard, foam, wire, wood… really anything!)
Criteria
 Must be 3-dimensional
 Must be free standing
 Must show the sugar and phosphate ‘backbone’
 Must have at least 10 base pairs (adenine, guanine, cytosine and thymine)
 Must include labels or a key
 Must be color coded
