MESSAGE OUTLINE
(Audio available online as “Winning the Battle Pt.1”, stop teaching at 28min 35 sec.)
INTRODUCTION:
Ephesians 6:10-11 (NKJV) “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put
on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
1 Timothy 6:12 (NKJV)“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called
and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”





Fight the good fight
Seize eternal life
Put on the whole armor of God
If we don’t get that we are in a war, we will think there is something wrong with us and make
excuses for the natural.
We can become victims even though God has called us to be warriors.
Eph 6:12-13 (AMP) “For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical
opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world
rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day
[of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].”


As Christians, we come into the Kingdom born-again:
1 Cor 5:17(NKJV)“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new.”
We must know our rights and how to fight, or we can still have a miserable life.
#1 ENLIST IN THE WAR!


Whether you want to fight or not, the war has come to you!
Why enlist?
 Because that is WHO you are!
 We are the salt, the light, the city on a hill. Matt 5:13-16
 We need to know who we are and what we are called to.
 Because you are Warrior Princesses!
 Jesus won the battle and we need to enforce His victory.
 We are practicing ruling and reigning with Jesus Christ.
 We are made to be beautiful, brave, noble, significant…
Ps. 84:9 (MSG) “Look at our shields, glistening in the sun, our faces, shining with your gracious
anointing.”
 We are called to this.
 The enemy wants to take us out.

We have to make a choice or we can become a casualty of war.
#2 KNOW MY ENEMY!




God is omniscient; the enemy is not!
 Satan is only a created cherub; he is not god.
He is not omnipotent, not all-powerful.
Satan cannot be everywhere present. (omnipresent)
 Satan is limited to one place at one time.
In Christ Jesus, Satan is not stronger than us.
Pt.1 ends at 28:35.
