AEU BEGINNING TEACHERS’
CONFERENCE INFORMATION
WHO CAN ATTEND
The conference is only open to financial AEU members in their first three years of teaching.
COST FOR CONFERENCE AND BBQ DINNER
There is NO charge to attend the conference and the BBQ dinner.
TRT FUNDING
TRT funding will be provided for all AEU financial members who are backfilled when attending the
conference. Members must indicate their requirements on this registration form, collect their Relief Staff
Authority Form at the conference and hand the form to the school/centre bursar for processing.
TRAVEL FOR COUNTRY MEMBERS
Country members must contact Lina Candiotto at the AEU office, phone: 08 8272 1399, email
lcandiotto@aeusa.asn.au or fax 08 8373 1254 to request air travel support before 24th February.
ACCOMMODATION FOR COUNTRY MEMBERS
Country members will be eligible for one night’s share accommodation at the AEU’s preferred hotel.
Members must contact Lina Candiotto at the AEU office in advance to allow the accommodation to be
confirmed.
MESSAGES
Urgent messages for participants can be left on 08 8272 1399 and will be placed on a noticeboard in the
conference area.
VENUE
The conference will be held at the AEU Conference Centre, AEU Office, 163 Greenhill Road, Parkside, SA.
PARKING
Limited parking is available at the rear of the main building (please enter from Porter Street). All day parking
is available on the northern side of Greenhill Road only from 9.00am – 4.30pm. Disabled parking is located
in the front car park.
REFRESHMENTS
Morning tea, lunch and a BBQ networking dinner on Friday will be provided.
