OFFICE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: To maintain a functioning office environment for the
organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Knowledge of office protocol and procedures.
2. Good written & verbal communication skills.
3. Aptitude in mathematics.
4. Competency in Microsoft Office, including Access, and comfortable
learning specialized accounting software. Knowledge of Publisher helpful.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Execute various accounting duties, including accounts payable, processing
invoices, and processing deposit.
2. Oversee an efficient office environment, including maintaining computer
and telephone systems, purchasing office supplies, and directing internal
communications.
3. Answer telephone and greet visitors.
4. Maintain database and lists.
5. Clerical support for all office staff, including, but not limited to, typing
letters, copying, filing, and coordinating mailings.
6. Coordinate Board meetings, including compiling Board materials, taking
minutes, and sending notifications to Board & staff.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
STRUCTURE: Reports to Executive Director.
HOURS: Part-time position, approximately 30+ hours per week. Non-exempt
position. Work hours generally 9:30am to 4:00pm, with occasional evening &
weekend work required.
COMPENSATION: Hourly wage of $13-14 per hour. Medical and dental
insurance provided. Compensation is established as part of an annual
performance review.
