Practical Project Phase III (Due 9am, Tuesday, Semester Week 5)
Essential Use Cases
(7.5 marks total)
Your group should produce a set of Essential Use Cases for four user interactions that would
occur with the system. They should not all involve the same actor, nor should they all be the
same interaction!
Do you know what Essential Use Cases are? They aren’t the same as Use Cases that you may
have encountered in other courses. EUCs were invented because Use Cases are insufficient to
describe the sequences of actions that occur in interfaces. Before you produce an answer to
this section of the Practical Project, listen to the description of EUCs in the class notes
(Section 3 - Process), and be sure you know what they are, and how they differ from Use
Cases.
