Exploited different eco-friendly management strategies for control of different insect
pests of Brassica with special emphasis on biological control.
Worked out the level of resistance/susceptibility against aphids in different genotypes
of sarson and canola developed by the breeders of NIA.
Screened out the level of natural resistance/susceptibility against sucking and chewing
pests in different genotypes of cotton developed by the breeders of NIA.
Studied the ecology, biology and behaviour of cotton bollworms, which formed the
basis to develop environmental friendly control strategies against insect pests of cotton.
Evaluated the importance of conservation of natural enemies through food
supplementation in the cotton field.
Exploited successfully the behavioural control of cotton bollworm for the monitoring of
cotton bollworms in cotton that resulted in reducing the number of insecticides
applications effectively.
Studied the compatibility of transgenic cotton with biological control agents.
Analyzed the guild of natural enemies of cotton pests for strengthening the biological
control in cotton.
