To complete your “Web Quest,” you will need to answer each question. You won’t be on

1. In order to start your quest, you need to know how to write like a Babylonian. Go

instructions, and copy your Babylonian name in cuneiform characters in the space

2. Now that you know your Babylonian name, you need to know and write down the
steps of the “Hero’s Journey.” What are the steps of the of the Hero’s Journey?

Gilgamesh is loosely based on a real historical figure? Which historical figure is

5. This question will test your knowledge of ancient Mesopotamia. Where is ancient
Mesopotamia? What two rivers surround it? Who were the first literate people
that lived in Mesopotamia? What current country is established in Mesopotamia?

6. In Mesopotamia, people had to obey certain laws and principles. What is the Code
of Hammurabi? What are two Codes of Law in the Code of Hammurabi that you
find interesting? Why?

7. What is a ziggurat and what were they used for? (You will find the information

8. List three gods or goddesses the Sumerians worshipped in ancient Mesopotamia.

9. You’re almost done!! You’ll be on your own for this last question. This part of
the quest will prove challenging. You need to provide a definition of these words
