Supreme Court Cases Involving Trial by Jury
Both the 6th and 7th Amendments to the Constitution guarantee an accused person the right to a
trial by jury. In addition, the 5th and 14th Amendments guarantee due process and equal protection of the
law. Many cases have found their way to the Supreme Court involving these issues. Your assignment is
to research each of the following cases and take notes on them. During the quiz on juries you will be
allowed to use these notes.
