Review & Evaluation:

Supplemental Item – Continuation of 50% contract with MRVSEC for Special Services Director: The MRVSEC Board has approved the
continuation of the agreement of a 50% contract with New Prague for services of NPAS Director. Approval is needed by the NPAS School Board
to continue this agreement for an additional year. Darren Kermes was present and offered statistics obtained through a survey of
Administrators, Parents and Staff. An additional year of shared services provide a more manageable timetable, and for programs being taken
back by districts within the program. Gross cuts to New Prague are around $450,000, with some of this money being used to finance programs
that were returned to the district. Immediate Action is requested

Supplemental Item – Every day Kindergarten Tuition for 2007/2008. Following the recommendation that was set by the board last year, the
principals are recommending a $35.00 increase in the monthly tuition for the 2007/2008 school year increasing to $245.00 per month.
Immediate Action is requested.

Energy Bond: Tim Rybak presented an update on the Energy Bond. Cost saving features have been built into the new elementary buildings.
There are six boilers in the district that are over 30 years old. There is a need to replace these with efficient low maintenance equipment. Other
areas where savings can be accrued are light sensors, occupancy sensors, temperature comfort zones. A Task Force will be established to
carefully look at areas where future savings could be attained.

Construction Update: Stockpiles of clay and black dirt need to be graded at the Eagle View site. This will aid in mowing and weed control, and
eliminate the need to have excess dirt removed from construction site. Clay and dirt will be retained for use should there be future expansion or
construction on the site.
o
MRVSEC: Discussion of continuation of the 50% contract for an additional year. Next meeting is March 21 when a state negotiation representative
will be in attendance
