Minutes from last meeting: Due to a mix up these were not distributed but were handed around and agreed at the meeting

Feedback:

Carnival Parking: £222 raised , all went well, just enough volunteers, used extra playground space, price right. Thanks to Toby for organising

Operation Christmas Child: More boxes than before (around

50.) DVD shown in many classes. Picture in Journal. Thanks to Laura and Liz for organising.

Jute Bags: Being delivered to school today. Mock up of design looked very good. To be sold for £5 each at

Christmas Fayre. Presentation to children who contributed to design on Monday 17 th December in Assembly and picture for Journal. Thanks to Emma for organising.

Treasurer’s Report: Report circulated. We currently have

£1020.35 available. Change of signatories is in hand.

5.

Christmas Fayre arrangements: Posters and banners to go up on

Monday morning. Sally to help Emma. Sara has printed more banners for us and we have plenty of cable ties. Parents will be asked to park buggies under canopy for safety. 5/6 teachers will be asked what stalls their children are running. risk assessment has been done and the committee were briefed on safety arrangements and evacuation procedure. Committee members to be posted on exit doors, other to shepherd, Emma to do final sweep. Rota looking healthy but one or two more people would be useful. Joanne to check if Berit can help. any child winning alcohol at the bottle

tombola will have to bring a parent up to collect it. Boxes going into classes today. Emma will let Theresa know how many floats are required. Cakes and tombolas requested two pots. Refreshments will serve milkshake for children as well as squash. A local coffee shop may be asked to donate coffee. Set up Friday morning for tombolas after the Carol Service although Eva will start first thing in staff room. Well done Emma!

Christmas Prize Draw update: Eva has over 50 donated prizes plus

£100 cash first prize! Eva to check and count first lot of returns this weekend. Sally to do same on Monday and Suze on Wednesday.

Folding tickets can then be done in advance of Friday. People volunteered to sell at Nativities and some will be sold on the day.

Please give names of people to thank to Eva who will produce a thank you letter for us to distribute. Some prizes to be drawn out loud and others behind the scenes with winners notified by phone to collect prizes from school office. Well done Eva!

Font: Discussions last year on font did not include final signing off of design so Suze and Emma to check designs on memory stick that

Sara produced and bring recommendation to next meeting.

AOB:

Toby suggested another Cake Stall in the Market

Place which Suze will investigate.

Emma suggested giving each child a tube of Smarties which they eat and return the tube full of coins. This has been done at playgroup, cubs etc but could be considered if we have a specific item to fundraise for

Toby reiterated the need for requests up front from school and Suze and Emma will arrange to meet Mr Hawkins in the

New Year to discuss.
