I am applying for the position of Adjunct Professor at the Roseville Brandman University
Campus.
After years of working within the business world, I am excited at the prospect of broadening my
field of experience as one of your instructors. I am also excited to learn that there are occasional
positions available at Brandman University, and would very much like to be considered as a
strong candidate.
Ideally, this position will allow me to utilize the unique combination of experience and
professional skills gained as a Professor of Communication at Sierra College and American
River College, and Proposal Writer at PRIDE Industries, to contribute to the overall
effectiveness of your school. My graduate level education allows me the ability to think at the
abstract level needed to facilitate critical thinking in students, and I have completed graduate
level coursework in the arena of Organizational Communication, Instructional Communication,
and Conflict Management. My career experience allows me a perspective invaluable to those of
us facilitating the transition of students into the business world.
Much of my experience is transferable, specifically in the areas of program and curriculum
development, teaching, classroom and time management. I am a firm believer in lifetime
learning, as a matter of fact, I just completed a course in Conflict Mediation, in which I enrolled
to broaden my skill base, as well as to provide me with the opportunity to mediate between
disputants within the court system. Given the opportunity, I am confident that my experience
and personable disposition would be an asset to Brandman.

submitted to your Roseville campus. For your convenience, I am attaching my resume,
