Driving Directions from Homewood Suites, 4950 Baseline Road, Boulder, CO 80303 to the
National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), 1850 Table Mesa Drive.
1. Head southeast on CO-157/Foothills Pkwy.
2. Take the exit ramp to Table Mesa Drive and turn right onto Table Mesa Drive. Get over one
lane to stay on Table Mesa (if you stay in the exit lane, it turns into the entrance ramp onto 36
highway west).
3. Continue on Table Mesa Drive through five traffic lights. At the sixth light, the cross street of
which is Broadway, you will want to be in the right lane to go across Broadway (do not exit right
onto Broadway).
4. Follow Table Mesa Drive to the top of the Mesa. You will go by a shopping center on your
left, through a neighborhood, past a school, through more neighborhood, and then climb into
open space as you get onto the UCAR/NCAR property.
5. Go to the top of the hill and stay on the main road to the parking lot. Do not turn right and
drive up to the big NCAR Mesa Lab building. Only the shuttles are allowed up to the building.
6. Park in the parking lot and walk up to the Mesa Lab. You will need to sign in at the front
desk and the receptionist will give you directions to the Damon Room, for Monday’s meeting.
(For Tuesday’s meeting, you will be in the Fleischmann Building. If you notice, just as you get
to the parking lot, if you look left (north) you will see the Fleischmann Building sign and the
building set back in the trees.)
