Portmagee Coffee morning raised €250 for Hospice. Thanks to all.


Parent & Toddlers group Thurs mornings at Martina’s childcare centre the Glen

Congratulations to the Glen/Ballinskelligs Ladies who came first in the charity
ladies seine boat race in Cahirciveen.

Portmagee will host a variety concert on Sat 1st Oct @8.30pm in the Community
hall as part of the Sea Shanty Festival. Many sea shanty groups from Holland &
England will join local musicians, singers & dancers for an evening of
entertainment. All proceeds go towards the R.N.L.I. Please support.

KDYS South West Kerry mini region youth club volunteer celebration will take
place in Waterville Community Centre on Wed 28th Sept @ 8pm. All volunteer
leaders, new, old & potential volunteers welcome to attend. Please confirm

Diocese of Kerry earth week 25th Sept – 4th Oct. Celebrate diocese of Kerry
earth week in your parish. Ideas on what to do are listed on the diocesan
website (www.dioceseofkerry.ie). “The environment is God’s gift to everyone, &
in our use of it we have a responsibility towards the poor, towards future
generations & towards humanity as a whole”. Pope Benedict XVI

Today is Priesthood Sunday. Maybe we could pray together for our Priests.
Through the intercession of Blessed John Paul II, may each of us answer the
call to holiness. May the men called to the Priesthood have the courage to say
