Enhanced Areas to Claus.com 2002:
1.) Santa’s Sleigh Phone lets kids call Santa by phone while he is on his sleigh on Christmas Eve.
The
experience includes 4 calls to get the latest update on how close Santa is to the child’s house and how many
cookies he’s eaten. Parents initiate the calls and enter their zip code, which the system uses to determine
the actual time in the calling area. Santa’s message to the child is based on that time, so the child will hear
how Santa is getting closer and closer to their house. The 4-call experience will cost $4.95, with Claus.com
donating a portion of the proceeds to the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Parents can begin ordering the
service the end of November.
