Study Abroad Scheme Scholarship Application
Introduction
SCS has been a strong advocate in bringing a true international experience to her students. Locally, the School supports students to take part in the CUHK International
Summer School Program by establishing a scholarship scheme. Internationally, SCS fosters strong relationship with her overseas partners such as Griffith University (GU), University of
Queensland (UQ), Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Central College, Glasgow
(CC) and ZheJiang University (ZJU) so that students of the Higher Diploma Program can take full advantage study abroad scheme offered by these institutes, and the possibility of credit transfer. To encourage students to have an experience of studying abroad, SCDS is proposing a scholarship scheme for students, who have academic potential, to take part in the study abroad programs of GU and UQ.

Financial support from SCS Scholarship (UK - $23,000; Australia - $25,000; China -
$6,000)
Selection Criteria
A) All applicants must satisfy the basic participation requirements;
B) Applicant must be officially accepted by participating institute;
C) Applicant must be a full-time student enrolled in any HD Programme in the academic year;
D) Applicant must be non-final-semester student;
E) Normally, applicant should have a minimum CGPA of 3.0;
F) Two references from academic staff that support the applicant’s capacity and potential to successfully complete overseas undergraduate courses.

Application Procedure
All applicants are required to complete an application form. Students are encouraged to submit any information that aids the application process. Applicants may submit the completed form with all supporting documents to respective Programme Assistant: (BAT)
Lee; (OC) Peggy; (EOC) Myra; (MLC) Peggy. Application is deemed unsuccessful if applicant does not hear from SCS.
