Professional
Accomplishments
After graduating from Washington University in 1954, and serving two-year in
the Army, I worked in New York for 10 years on a number of exciting projects.
Among them was the Seagram Building. In 1966, I joined Eliot Noyes &
Associates and was named the head of the firm’s Architectural Department in
1972, a Partner in 1974, and in 1977, the sole principal under the firm’s new
name AG/ENA. During my 38 years with the firm I designed and managed a
diverse number of projects for some of the nations leading corporations and
public agencies-everything from the development of a master plan for a large
technical center to gasoline dispensers. Mine is a multidiscipline, collaborative
practice that includes Architecture, Corporate Design Consulting, Industrial
Design, interiors and Graphics.
