time to call after 8:00PM and weekends

that team has its first swimmer(s) entered.
The host club has the right to change the format of the meet with the approval of the sanctioning
chairman and either the age group or senior chairman. These changes would be made for a more
efficient swim meet for the swimmers and the host club. Reasons for these changes include: to
allow more swimmers to swim, to conform to facility capacity limits or severe weather that would
require restructuring of a session.
In order to be eligible for the New Jersey Swimming Zone Championship Team or for New Jersey
Swimming National Championship Reimbursement, NJ Swimming policy stipulates certain
participation requirements. As a New Jersey Swimming sanctioned meet, this meet counts towards
these participation requirements.

Entries
Entries
Entry Fees
Entry Process:
 In accordance with NJS policy, team entries may be submitted by E-mail to
entries1@juno.com.
 All entries must be submitted as an e-mailed attachment in HyTek TM entry file format. No
hardcopy or USPS mail entries will be processed.
 The meet entry coordinator will respond to e-mailed entries within 48 hours. If you do not
receive an e-mail response within 48 hours, assume that your email has not been received. It
then becomes the e-mailer’s responsibility to make sure that the host club's meet entry
coordinator receives the e-mail. If you do not receive an e-mail response, you must contact
the entry coordinator by e-mail or phone to resolve.
 Teams entered will be posted on the web sites.
Entry Times
 New Jersey Swimming does not allow ‘NT’ or ‘No Time’ to be used as an entry time.
 All entry times must be faster than qualifying time standards for this meet.
 All entry times must be in long course meters. Converted times will be accepted.
 Proof of time is required for all entries in events 400 Meters and longer.
 Accuracy of seed times is essential. Incomplete entries will not be accepted.
Entry Logistics
 Deck entries will not be accepted. No phone or faxed entries will be accepted.
 Entry summary, verification forms, waiver release, and fees must be received no later than
8:00am on Friday, June 27th, 2014. These items should be delivered to the control room prior
to the start of the Meet. A team without swimmers in the Friday Prelim Session will be
permitted to submit its waiver and entry fees later in the day / meet, but these items must be
received before the start of the session in which that team has its first swimmer(s) entered.
 Eastern Express Swim Team reserves the right to scratch swimmers/teams that have not
paid their entry fees and turned in their waiver forms by the start of the meet.
 In order to provide the most “splash” opportunities, upon receipt of entries, the host team
will allow all teams 5 days to “pre-meet scratch” (reduce their entries). This “pre-meet
scratch” procedure is meant to allow additional teams into the meet based upon entered
teams being “good citizens” and removing any athletes who will not be participating in the
meet from their team entries. This clears room in the meet for swimmers from other teams
who would otherwise be closed out.
 Individual Entry Fee for 13/Over Prelim/Final events: $6.00
 Individual Entry Fee for 800 free/1500 free events: $11.00
 Individual Entry Fee for 12/Under events: $5.00
