7) Zanesville Campus Library Food drive gains support from Good Intentions
Group (GiG)
The Zanesville Campus Library is hosting a food drive competition among
student groups on campus. All student groups from Ohio University and Zane
State College are invited to participate. Each student group on campus has a box
to accept donations at the Library. All canned goods will go to our local Salvation
Army. Last year the campus donated over 840 items to the Salvation Army.
Please help us beat that number this year. The Library will donate a pizza party
to the winning group. The competition will run through December 9. One student
group is already set up to participate and challenges others to do the same.
The Good Intentions Group encourages OSU/Michigan fans to show support of
the upcoming game by donating food items for your favorite team between now
and the November 27 game day. There are decorated boxes set up in the Elson
Hall Atrium to drop off your non-perishable items. Those who donate after
November 20 can put the items right in the Library box for GiG. We challenge
other student groups to join in the fun and help the Campus Library food drive
with us!
