Hypothesis:
Dietary Screening Questionnaire Analysis
Description:
The worksite wellness program at Rutgers (LIFT UP) uses
the Dietary Screening Questionnaire (DSQ) as one data
collection tool to monitor frequency of consumption of
selected foods and drinks. The DSQ captures intakes of
fruits and vegetables, dairy/calcium, added sugars, whole
grains/fiber, red meat, and processed meat. NHANES
2009-2010 also uses DSQ. The student researcher would
download data from the DSQ LIFT UP-specific researcher
site and analyze the data using SAS. The student
researcher will assess LIFT UP participants’ responses
compared to a national average (NHANES) as well as
track LIFT UP responses over time.
